 What is NYC Chinatown? 

 

The Manhattan Chinatown is home to the largest group of Chinese people in the Western Hemisphere. It is location borders the Lower East Side and Little Italy. 

 

It is estimated that there are upwards of 100,000 people residing in the Manhattan Chinatown, making it one of the oldest ethnic Chinese enclaves outside of Asia. 

 

Its residents speak primarily in Mandarin, Min, and Cantonese.
